Brandon, MS – Crossgates River Oaks Hospital is pleased to welcome Deepika Majithia, M.D., Psychiatrist to its medical staff.
Dr. Majithia received a medical degree and completed a junior residency in psychiatry and a senior residency in physiology from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak, Haryana, India. She then went on to complete a residency in psychiatry from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
In addition to being board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Majithia’s memberships include the American Psychiatric Association, the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry, the Mississippi Psychiatric Association and the Medical Council of India. Dr. Majithia will serve as medical director for the senior care program at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital.
Dr. Majithia and her husband, Vikas, have twins sons, Eesh and Unsh, and live in Madison. The senior care program offers individualized care in a warm, supportive environment for seniors suffering from emotional or mental problems.
