CROSSGATES RIVER OAKS HOSPITAL WELCOMES KELLEY FARNER, C.F.N.P.
Allen Tyra, CEO at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital has announced that Kelley Farner, Certified Family Nurse Practiontioner has joined the staff of the Center for Reconstructive Surgery and Wound Healing.
Prior to joining the staff, Farner was a nurse practicioner at Madden Medical Clinic in Carthage, MS, where she provided specialized wound treatment to patients of all ages. In her new role she will provide wound care for patients dealing with acute and chronic diseases.
Farner received a bachelors degree in nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and a masters degree in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She continued her education at the Mississippi University for Women where she received a family nurse practitioner certificate.
The Center for Reconstructive Surgery and Wound Healing provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for people with acute or chronic wounds that are difficult to heal. The program offers a multidisciplinary approach to wound care that promotes optimum healing while working in conjunction with the primary care physician. The center also provides reconstructive surgeries and rehabilitative services.
