Job Description
The Nurse Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of the overall nursing care to patients for the 18-bed geriatric psychiatric unit.
The Nurse Manager will also provide managerial support in conjuction with the Program Director by providing supervision and evaluation of all nursing personnel on the unit. The manager will contribute to the program, nursing, and hospital through committment to nursing goals, the supervision of clinical staff, and participation in the community relations program.
Requirements
Must have and active Mississippi Nursing License or be eligible for state of MS Nursing License. 2-3 years experience managing an inpatient psychiatric program required. BSN with extensive psych management experience preferred.
